This study is recruiting at 1 US site in 1 state, according to its ClinicalTrials.gov record last updated .
Summary
Swimming-induced pulmonary edema (SIPE) is a potentially life-threatening condition that can affect swimmers of all abilities. The pathophysiology is not well understood and early identification strategies are not established. Handheld ultrasound is a validated tool for the identification of pulmonary edema and is not well-studied in this population.
