NCT03520374
This study is recruiting at 1 US site in 1 state, according to its ClinicalTrials.gov record last updated .
Summary
Perioperative aspiration of gastric contents is a rare but serious adverse event. A lack of knowledge or familiarity is frequently cited by anesthesia providers as a rationale for not performing perioperative ultrasound assessments.
